CMR/TNS Media Intelligence Announces Change In Company Leadership
Steven J. Fredericks Assumes Role as President and CEO
 
NEW YORK, November 12, 2002 - CMR/TNS Media Intelligence, the leading provider of strategic advertising and marketing communications information, has announced the hire of Steven J. Fredericks as President and CEO, taking over the position previously held by David Peeler.

In Mr. Fredericks' role as President and CEO, effective November 11, 2002, he will oversee CMR/ TNS Media Intelligence along with its divisions: Marx, Evaliant, TES, TNSSPORT and Precision Marketing Services.

Mr. Fredericks comes to CMR/TNS Media Intelligence with more than 25 years of experience and has a renowned global reputation for exceptional leadership of companies in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently, he served as CEO and President of JASSNet, the premier Internet Program Guide (previously known as Yack, Inc.). He also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing and Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business and as President and CFO of Internetstudios.com, Inc.

Mr. Fredericks has held a series of top management positions at Digital Domain, Inc. where under his guidance, Digital Domain was named the fastest growing company in California and emerged as the leading digital studio in the world - receiving two consecutive Academy Awards for special visual effects. Among his accomplishments, he created and ran an advanced digital studio in Europe named Digital Renaissance. During Mr. Fredericks' tenure, the company worked on significant productions including Titanic, Apollo 13, True Lies, Dante's Peak and The 5th Element. In addition, the company was a recipient of numerous Clio awards for its TV commercials; and Grammy and MTV awards for its music videos. The company is also known for its groundbreaking interactive CD-ROM for Mattel - Barbie Fashion Designer - the number one selling software program for the girl's market. Digital Domain also created the Terminator 2 - 3D experience for Universal Studios.

His experience also includes more than 16 years at IBM, where among his accomplishments he oversaw all M&A activity in the entertainment and media industry segments. While at IBM's European headquarters in France, he was responsible for the organizations' financial leadership throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
