CMR Relocates Corporate Headquarters Within Manhattan
685 Third Avenue is New Home to Foremost Information Provider
 
CMR, the leading provider of strategic advertising and marketing communication information, in an effort to adapt to its expanding business, has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters within New York City, effective today.

CMR will maintain its midtown Manhattan presence, shifting to 685 Third Avenue, between 43rd and 44th Streets, from its current location at 11 West 42nd Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. In addition, CMR's sales offices in Dallas and Chicago have already moved into new facilities within the past months. CMR is also relocating its Los Angeles sales office in tandem with the New York move.

David Peeler, president and CEO of CMR declared, "By keeping a midtown Manhattan locale, CMR continues to operate at the center of the media and advertising worlds and furthers its commitment to be easily accessible to all clients nationally and globally. In the past year, we have acquired both Wallace Marx and Associates and Adscope to enhance our already broad and comprehensive coverage of the marketing information industry. Our new headquarters will serve as the key U.S. base for future growth of the CMR organization and Taylor Nelson Sofres' advertising expenditure business."

The new headquarters will strictly house CMR and the New York-based personnel dedicated to further expanding its brand and suite of media services in the marketplace, including the executive, finance, marketing communication, human resource and product planning & management departments. It will also hold the New York-based sales groups for its Agency, Advertiser, Broadcast, and Magazine departments as well as the CMRi and Wallace Marx & Associates divisions. CMR's parent company, Taylor Nelson Sofres, will use office space within this new facility as well.
