Robert Scott Joins CMR as Vice President Sales, CMRinteractive

Robert J. Scott has joined Competitive Media Reporting (CMR) as Vice President, Sales for CMRinteractive (CMRi), the company's Internet advertising monitoring division. In this capacity, he holds overall responsibility for leading the sales and new business development efforts for CMR's growing Internet business. Mr. Scott comes to CMR from ARI Network Services, a provider of Internet-enabled and web-based e-Business software solutions based in Milwaukee, where he held the position of Director of U.S. Sales. He assumed his position on July 5.

"With his 20 years sales and marketing experience, Bob brings a solid understanding of the Internet and e-commerce environments to CMR," said David Peeler, President and CEO of CMR. "Additionally, he will work closely with all business units at CMR to build and further expand our growing Internet business."

"Just as CMR is the recognized industry leader in providing advertising expenditure information in traditional media, it is my intention to elevate CMRi to the same level of recognition," said Mr. Scott. "The Internet as a communications channel and an advertising medium - and the companies trying to gain a piece of the marketplace - is ever changing. We intend to bring stability and accuracy to this moving target."

Prior to his tenure with ARI Network Services, Mr. Scott held various senior sales and marketing positions with the marketing information industry, including American Business Information and Dun & Bradstreet.

CMRinteractive is the dedicated Internet arm of CMR. Through its web-based platform, cmrinteractive.com, the division delivers competitive web advertising expenditures that facilitate the planning, buying, prospecting and selling of Internet advertising.
