Dan Taylor Joins CMR’s Theatrical Entertainment Services
Theatre Industry Specialist to Expand TES Expertise for Cinema Market
 
NEW YORK, May 30, 2002– CMR, a leading provider of strategic advertising and marketing communications information, announces the appointment of Dan Taylor to Theatrical Entertainment Services, Inc. (TES), a CMR/TNS company specializing in supplying box office verification and cinema tracking services to the film industry and movie theater operators.

As Vice President/General Sales Manager for TES, Mr. Taylor’s responsibilities include maintaining and strengthening client relationships with major studios and exhibitors, and leveraging CMR’s intelligence capabilities to create the most complete marketing view of the movie industry. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the theatre equipment industry and has served in management roles on both the exhibitor and studio distribution sides of the business.

Taylor spent the past nine years as Vice President of Sony Cinema Products Corporation, where he had an extremely successful track record in developing relationships with studio distribution, operations, production and creative studio executives tied to the launch and growth of Sony Dynamic Digital Sound (SDDS). Taylor also served a three-year term as President of the International Theater Equipment Association (ITEA) and is currently Chairman of ITEA. Prior to Sony, Taylor served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kintek, Inc., where he was responsible for leading the company’s growth from $1 million to $2.5 million in revenues.
